The Met-Life arena is going crazy as all the stage hands are rushing in an attempt to get all the last minute preparations done before Wrestlemania goes on live. As for Brooke, she is sitting on one of the unused crates lost in thought and not even paying attention to the events that transpire around here. Brooke not even paying attention doesn't here EBWF Legend Lacey come up to here in the midst of the chaos.
Lacey: You're never going to make an impact in the EBWF if you don't do more to prepare yourself for your matches besides sit here in solitude.
Brooke Tessmacher: I'm just trying to stay out of everyone's way as they prepare for the biggest event of the year.
Lacey: You're not trying to stay out of anyone's way. You're worried about what everyone thinks of you so you're hiding so you don't have to feel their hate or even their jealous glares.
Brooke Tessmacher: So what if I am? I'm not hurting anyone.
Lacey: The problem is you don't even realize the potential you possess, for your too busy worrying about pleasing people and not worried about achieving success; my success didn't come because I worried about what people thought of me it came because every night I went out there and kicked butt.
Brooke Tessmacher: You maybe right about my potential but how do I execute it when most of the people I am wrestling against are better then me?
Lacey: You're the only one who believes that. I may not have been in EBWF in years, but I have been following and one thing I've noticed is unlike all the other girls is that you have an uncanny ability to just click with the fans now you just got to believe in yourself.
Brooke Tessmacher: Say you are right, what do you suggest I do?
Lacey: Kick some ass and take some names.
Brooke Tessmacher: I kind of like that idea hiding in the dark isn't going to get me noticed. If I want their respect I'm going to have to go out their and earn it. But that's not the point I got a battle royal that states if I win I get a shot at whomever the champion maybe after Wrestlemania. Granted, if you're not in wrestling to win titles you're in the wrong business and I definitely want to win that women's championship.
Brooke pauses and looks at Lacey who is standing in front of her with her arms crossed grinning knowing full and well that Brooke is finally getting that piece of the puzzle that has been missing for so long "CONFIDENCE" which is really something that can't be taught it has to be found and Brooke has finally found it.
Brooke Tessmacher: I'm tired of being overlooked by everyone... You ask me Wrestlemania is as good as any night to start a fire; from this night on things are going to be different. I'm not going to hesitate to go out on the biggest stage of them all and cement myself as one of the top women in this promotion, and the rest of the women who don't think to view me as a threat can pucker up and kiss my ass, believe that. I'm tired of being at the bottom of the ladder and nothing changing. Tonight, I guess I'm just going to tip the proverbial ladder over and through everyone in this battle royal off and then climb up the proverbial metaphorical ladder and seize my spot to face whoever the champion will be after Wrestlemania.
Lacey: I love that intensity that you're showing that has been something you have been missing from the beginning and as long as you keep it you will be going far.
Brooke Tessmacher: This is my evolution, screw what you knew.... Girls, I hope you're ready because your dreams and aspiration of moving past that battle royal end with me winning. I'm stronger then all of you think and it's about dang time you find out what I Brooke Effin' Tessmacher is made of at Wrestlemania.
Lacey looks at Brooke knowing that the girl who she was talking to at the beginning and the one now are two different people. The original Brooke had gotten so apathetic towards where her career was going and started leaning more towards pleasing others that she had forgotten how to be happy with herself and who she is which is exactly what Lacey awoken her too. Lacey, smiles and walks away knowing her job before fading into obscurity once more is done and that's wreak havoc and helped someone become that much better.
